Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Earl A. Kerr, 81, a retired construction worker, died unexpectedly in his home at 814 S. 2nd St. at 5:30 a.m. Sunday. Born at Cates, he had lived at Lafayette since 1936. He was married in 1913 at Veedersburg to Martha Z. Clark, who survives. Mr. Kerr was a member of Evangelical Mennonite Church. Surviving with the widow are four daughters, Miss Bertha V. Kerr of Virginia Beach, Va., Mrs. Mary Rudisail of Lafayette, Mrs. Donald (Martha) Moyer of Melbourne, Fla., and Mrs. John (Nadine) Sanford of Wolcott; and three sons, John and Kenneth Kerr, both of Lafayette, and Jack Kerr of Aurora, Colo. – jlr

KERR, Earl A. – Friends may call from 5-9 p m. Tuesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Funeral Home. Funeral at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, the Rev. Randolph Ramsey officiating Interment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Two sons, Lawrence and Norman Kerr, preceded in death. – jlr
